Getting to Sorrento
Sorrento is approximately 90 minutes from Melbourne CBD by car and is at the Southern tip of the Mornington Peninsula, in Victoria, Australia. Sorrento Village is ideally located between the pristine bay beach and rugged ocean beach of Sorrento.
It is an easy day trip, far enough way to feel you’ve escaped the bustle of the city.

The Sorrento to Queenscliff car and passenger ferry leaves from the Sorrento terminal on the hour, every hour from 7am to 6pm over June.

Sorrento is approximately 90 minutes drive from Melbourne.
Simply take the Monash Freeway or the Eastern Freeway onto Eastlink/Peninsula Link then Mornington Peninsula Freeway to Rosebud.
Point Nepean Rd will take you on a beautiful drive along the bay all the way to Sorrento.

Weekdays
Buses travel from Frankston to Portsea every 45 minutes weekdays starting from 5.20am through to 11pm. The trip takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Weekends
Buses run every 1 hour and 15 minutes from Portsea to Frankston from 8.20am to 8.40pm with reduced routes operating outside of these times.
Myki tickets can now be purchased in Sorrento at the Amcal Pharmacy, 61-63 Ocean Beach Rd.

Most car parking is free in Sorrento and there are multiple car parks and locations.
The largest all day parking (240 spaces) is in Morce Ave behind the Ocean Beach Rd shops (enter from either George St or Melbourne Rd)
Most of the parking along Ocean Beach Rd is 2 hours or less, and there are 70 car spaces at the ferry terminal which are free except between November and April. There are also 20 all-day spaces behind the fire station on Kerferd Rd.
